Lillian V. Bryan, 95, of Marshall died April 24, 2010, at Fitzgibbon Hospital at Marshall. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Gill Memorial Baptist Church at Marshall with the Rev. Russ Johnson and William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Marshall.

Mrs. Bryan was born on Oct. 6, 1914, at Thomasville. She was the daughter of Noah Joseph and Lola Effie Davis Baker. She married Robert McReynolds in 1935, who preceded her in death. She married Jim Stewart in 1945, who preceded her in death in 1957. She married Vurley Hawkins in 1969, who preceded her in death in 1971. She married Maurice Bryan in 1972. He died in 1980. She lived in Saline County most of her life. She worked at Safeway Grocery, Marshall public schools and Fitzgibbon Hospital. She was a member of Gill Memorial church and the Happy Adult Singles.

Mrs. Bryan is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Martha Sue) Jasper of Marshall; two stepdaughters, Donna Beth Shull of Boonville and Anna Maples of Lexington; a stepson, Dale Bryan of Chilhowee; a brother, Lawrence Baker of Marshall; two sisters, Ruth Herndon and Velma Bacon of Marshall; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, James F. Stewart Jr. and David Stewart Manson; two stepdaughters, Norma Anglen and Betty Downs; four brothers, Amos Baker, Norman Baker, Alva Baker and Earl Baker; and three sisters, Mary Frain and twins, Doris Baker and Dorothy Baker in infancy.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Baptist Children's Home or to the church.
