Looking back at last year, the I-70 Conference volleyball season was dominated by upperclassmen, six of the all-conference, first-team members being seniors and the other six being juniors.

The first-team members who played their last high-school volleyball match included Concordia's Tori Kopp, Saint Paul's Taylor Vogelsmeier and Madison Krause, Santa Fe's Lauren Aversman and Crest Ridge's Ashton Doak and Ashley McFarland.

The juniors off of last year's first team who will be playing this year include Concordia's Laura Blankenship, Saint Paul's Dana Peters and Audrey Mehl, Santa Fe's Molly Sander and Orrick's Amanda Rodenberg. The other first-team member was junior Lindsay Sheffield of Windsor, which is no longer in the I-70 and now a member school of the Kaysinger Conference.

Two seniors, Kim Rennison and Kathleen Tyler of Sweet Springs, on the honorable-mention list are not back for 2010. But the other three members, sophomores Halli Brackman of Concordia, Amy Isenhour of Orrick and Megan Beckemeyer of Wellington, are eligible to return.
