Mike Trautman to emcee fall festival queen contest

Mike Trautman will be the emcee for the 2010 Concordia Fall Festival Queen Contest. It will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Concordia High School gymnasium.

Trautman retired in 2008 as Concordia High School principal, with nine years of teaching and 14 years in administration. He resides near Sweet Springs with his wife, Kathy, has three married children and is the grandfather of nine. His hobbies include mastering barbecue and working around his home.

There will be eight contestants in this year's contest. The pages at the event will be Kaleigh Benson, daughter of Eric and Jamie Benson, and Braden Roepe, son of Andrew and Jamie Roepe, all of Concordia.
