Dale Johnson, 63, of Houstonia died Dec. 23, 2010, at I-70 Community Hospital at Sweet Springs. Funeral services were held Monday at Houstonia Baptist Church with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial was in Houstonia Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born on Sept. 5, 1947, at Fayette. He was the son of Eugene and Dorothy Murphy Johnson. He married Mary Dillon on June 4, 1965. He lived in the Houstonia area most of his life and worked at Williams Farms for 34 years. He was a member of Houstonia Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of the home; five sons, Kenneth Johnson of Hughes-ville, Rickey Johnson of Hous-tonia, Bryan Dillon and Scott Dillon of Sweet Springs and Aaron Dillon of Sedalia; five daughters, Mrs. Ted (Debbie) Martin of Stilwell, Kan., Mrs. Lynn (Dorothy) Hiller of Nelson, Mrs. Scott (Vicki) Tubbs of Gunter, Texas, Mrs. Dale (Kathy) Swift of Marshall and Mrs. Kenny (Mary) Meyer of Concordia; three brothers, Larry Johnson of Clinton, Gary Johnson of Sedalia and Roger Johnson of Marshall; three sisters, Donna Kraus of Pilot Grove, Beverly Dove of Green Ridge and Judy Evans of Marshall; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Everette Johnson.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the church.
