Mrs. Hinkley was born April 15, 1929, at Springfield. She was the daughter of Enos Glen and Harriet Sterett Stambach. She was a 1947 graduate of Nevada High School and a 1949 graduate of Cottey College at Nevada. She worked for ARLEE Advertising Agency in Kansas City and Farm and Home Savings Association at Nevada. She married Ottomar Paul Bredehoeft and they divorced. She married William Howard Hinkley Sr. on April 5, 1964, at Osage Beach Meth-odist Chapel. In 1968, she and her husband moved to Moberly where they established a shoe repair business, and she worked for the Moberly Division of Family Services, retiring after 19 years. She attended Grace Baptist Church at Moberly. She was a member of American Legion Bazan Bailey Post 6 Auxiliary of Moberly.
Mrs. Hinkley is survived by two sons, Paul Bredehoeft of Fredericksburg, Va., and Joseph Ray Jerkins of Jefferson City; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Pam Bredehoeft) Surbaugh of Concordia; three granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 24, 2009; an infant son, Phillip Scott Hinkley; and a sister, Jane.
The pallbearers were Keith Ohrenberg, Debbie Ohrenberg, Carl Parrack, Denny Hill, Steve Embree and Jim Davenport.
