Roberta Beatrice Schreiman, 77, formerly of Alma and Waverly, died July 27, 2012, at Meyer Care Center at Higginsville. Funeral services were held Monday at Three Groves Baptist Church near Alma with the Rev. Don Scurlock officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Schreiman was born March 28, 1935, at St. Louis. She was the daughter of Martin and Carrie Schlicher Nadler. She was raised by her grandparents, Fred and Mary Drake Schlicher. She married Argyll Louis Schreiman on April 5, 1953. They lived in the Alma and Waverly area. She was the bookkeeper for the family farm operation. She was a member of Lafayette County Pork Producers, Missouri Cattlemen's Association and Missouri Farm Bureau. She was a 4-H leader and Girls in Action leader. She was a member of Three Groves church where she was a Sunday school teacher and long-time church pianist.

Mrs. Schreiman is survived by two sons, Harold Schreiman and Allen Schreiman of Waverly; a daughter, Nancy Dankenbring of Concordia; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 4, 1995.

The pallbearers were Kyle Wilkens, Erik Wilkens, Angel Baez, Mike Schreiman and John Paul Rechterman. The honorary pallbearers were Brook Wilkens, Elaine Schreiman, Maggie Wilkens, Katie Rechterman, Rachel Baez and Jaimie Rechterman.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation.

Arrangements were made by Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home, Higginsville.
