Robert J. Harrison, 89, of Raleigh, N.C., and formerly of Concordia, died Dec. 1, 2012, at Alamance Regional Medical Center at Burlington, N.C. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Calvary Cemetery at Corder, with the Rev. Tim Biesemeyer officiating.

Mr. Harrison was born April 21, 1923, at Dover. He was the son of Jefferson S. and Lorene Lieser Harrison. He also lived in Corder, Branson and Diamond City, Ark., before moving to North Carolina in 2010. He was founder of Corder Manufacturing Company in 1960. He also founded and operated the Ozark Camper Factory in Concordia, retiring in 1973. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, ranking seaman first class. He was a former member of the Concordia Lions Club, Loyal Order of Moose and the Jefferson City American Legion.

Mr. Harrison is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Jim (Rebecca) Hale of Henley, Roberta Sue Collins of Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., Mrs. Sam (Deborah) Boland of Vero Beach, Fla., Sandra Harrison of Lake City, Fla., and Patricia Harrison of Chapel Hill, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Herman (Sheila Lea) Gose of Hampton, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ross Lee Harrison; a sister, Edith Jo Harrison; and a grandson.

Arrangements were made Hoefer Funeral Home at Higginsville.
