City approves one-time payroll adjustment for full-time workers
The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved a one-time payroll adjustment of 1.25 percent for full-time city employees Monday.
The 2012-2013 budget did not include a cost-of-living wage adjustment. The 1.25 percent increase is designed to compensate for the lack of the cost-of-living adjustment.
According to a calculation of the wage adjustments listed in the ordinance approving the increase, the city will pay $8,294, divided among 19 employees. The amount each full-time employee receives is based on his or her annual salary.
