Margaret Irene Wulser
Margaret Irene Wulser, nee Lovercamp, 79, of Concordia, Mo., passed into glory on Dec. 29, 2013, at Research Medical Center at Kansas City. Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Concordia with the Rev. Patrick Niles officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wulser was born April 10, 1934, at Corder. She was the daughter of Omar Theodore George and Bertha Carolina Vogel Lovercamp. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Henry and Anna Hedwig Buhlig Lovercamp. Her maternal grandparents were Ernest Julius Vogel and Lena Wanner. Margaret was known by her family and friends as Midge, a nickname she acquired because she was such a small baby. She was united in marriage to William Francis Wulser on June 16, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Alma, Mo. After graduating from Alma High School, Margaret moved to Kansas City where she worked at BMA Insurance. After marriage she worked part time as a medical transcriptionist, a secretary and finally at Roxbury Press, in Sweet Springs, Mo. Her full-time job was as a loving mother and housewife whose motto could be summed up as "hospitality is best served through the stomach." Margaret enjoyed working in the yard, spending time at their family cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks, bird watching and doing counted cross stitch. She was a member of St. Paul's church.
Mrs. Wulser is survived by her husband of the home; three sons and grandchildren: Greg and Debbie Wulser, of Concordia, (Michelle Fuehring, Michael Clevenger, Matthew Johnson, Jeremy Wulser and Marc Johnson); Kurt and Kristin Wulser, of Lincoln, Neb.; and Tim and Rhonda Wulser of Concordia (Chris Bargfrede, Zachery Wulser and Shelby Wulser); 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) Lovercamp, of Alma, and Omar (Bonnie) Lovercamp, of Corder; six sisters, Ruby (Clarence) Hemme and Ruth Bredehoeft, of Alma; Vera (LeMoyne) Waak, of East Detroit, Mich.; Ann (Delbert) Meyer, of York, Neb.; Geraldine (Gene) Wagner, of Concordia; Helen (Art) Fliege, of Lincoln; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two great-grandchildren, Rayna Wulser and Chance Clevenger; and a brother, Karl Lovercamp.
The pallbearers were Clark Bredehoeft, Steve Lovercamp, Jeff Wagner, Mark Brunkhorst, Omar Lovercamp Jr. and Kyle Lovercamp.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Lafayette County Cancer Coalition.
