At approximately 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, a white Ford Ranger crashed at the apartment complex at 902 S. Magdalena, in Concordia. The driver, Wilbert Reinwald, was uninjured.

According to witnesses, Reinwald was attempting to reverse into a parking space at the complex when he accelerated rather than braking. The truck jumped the curbing onto the grass next to the southernmost building as he reversed in a wide circle.

He circled around to the north, barely missing a truck parked in the lot, jumped the sidewalk and sideswiped a tree on the property before finally coming to rest.

Concordia Police, Fire and EMS responded to the scene. The vehicle was towed at approximately 11 a.m.
