SPLS students recognized at Youth Art Month ceremony

Four St. Paul's Lutheran School Students were honored by Missouri First Lady Georganne Nixon Thursday, March 12, at the capitol, in Jefferson City, as part of Youth Art Month. They are, from left: (front) Leah Brandt, second grade; Jameson Oetting, kindergarten; (back) Chloe Brown, seventh grade; and Malaina Pitsch, eighth grade. According to information provided by Betsy Lange, SPLS art teacher, the purpose of Youth Art Month is to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.
