Raynes taking on new role on CPD

Thursday, January 12, 2017

Clint Raynes will be stepping into the office of Chief of Police for the Concordia Police Department with the retirement of Chief Jim Lynn on Jan. 12.

Raynes has been in law enforcement since 2005, when he went to work for the Johnson County Jail, located in Warrensburg at the time. He started as a full-time police officer in Concordia in April of 2010.

"I'll start as Chief of Police on Jan. 13," he said. "Jim and I have worked together for quite a while. I'm sorry to see Jim go, but I'm looking forward to working with the citizens of Concordia and helping the city to continue to move forward."
