Jennifer Lynn Oetting
Jennifer Lynn Oetting, 65, of Concordia, Missouri, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia with Rev. Harold Block officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.

Born July 25, 1951 in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late Harold F. Oetting and Geraldine M. “Jerry” Oetting. Jennifer lived in Concordia her entire life where she was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Because of illness, she was unable to work outside the home, but she used her time and talents in numerous ways to help others. Jennifer was an active leader in the Walkenezer 4-H where she taught crocheting for over 25 years. She was awarded the Frank Graham 4-H Volunteer Leadership Award by the Missouri 4-H Foundation. That award is given to volunteers who have dedicated their time and talents to benefit Missouri youth involved in 4-H. She was also a member of the Xi Theta Zeta Sorority in Concordia.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Oetting of rural Concordia; and one cousin, David Paul Hemme of rural Emma.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Wilbert Oetting and Herbert Hemme, and his wife Jessie; as well as one cousin, Cheryl Hemme.
