PT Catchers continue to dominate on the diamond

The PT Catchers Little League softball team stayed hot by knocking off Concordia Bowl 9-2 on Thursday, June 1 at the Concordia Sports Complex to improve to 9-1.

The Catchers rolled out to an 8-0 lead and never looked back. Kiya Inman provided a solid pitching performance, pitching all six innings and giving up just three hits and four walks against nine strikeouts.

Inman also came up with two hits, including a double, and two runs batted in. Kirsten Streeter drove in two runs and scored twice. Hali Deatherage finished with a pair of runs scored.

The Catchers fell behind 2-0 after the top of the first inning but racked up seven runs in a row to jump in front.four more runs came across to score in the fourth to pad the lead.

Inman and Landry Yount had two hits and an RBI each. Yount and Streeter both doubled, and Yount scored three times. Inman pitched all six innings in the win.
