Douglas Borgstadt, 75, of Concordia, Missouri, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.

Born Feb. 25, 1942, in Aullville, he was the son of the late August Borgstadt and Marceline Duffey Borgstadt. Doug lived in the Concordia and Aullville areas most of his life, and was a 1959 graduate of Concordia High School. On Jan. 31, 1964, he married Beverly Jean Haskett, who survives of the home. Doug was a retired carpenter.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by three children: Kimberly of Concordia, David of Sedalia, and James of Concordia; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard K. Borgstadt of Aullville; two sisters, Sue Brooks and Rebecca Reeves, both of Aullville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Eugene, Leslie and F.D. Borgstadt; and two sisters, Barbara Harp and Alice Johnson.
