According to unofficial online court documents, a Lexington man is facing felony charges related to an incident last month during which he allegedly had forcible sex with a 16-year-old female.

A probable-cause statement states that the girl reported to police that Dominic Alexander Ray had covered her mouth so she couldn’t scream, had unprotected forcible sex with her, and reportedly threatened to cut her if she were to scream. She stated he allegedly had a knife. The incident reported occurred on Sept. 22 at Battle Field. The report also states that the female filed her report on Sept. 27 and told an officer she had told the accused “no” repeatedly when he first grabbed her.

Online court documents show Ray has been charged with unclassified felonies for rape or attempted rape in the first degree and armed criminal action. The bond was set at $150,000 cash only.

No date has been set for Ray to appear before the Lafayette County Circuit Court.
