Urgent pavement repairs on westbound I-70 at Route H beginning at 5 a.m. Oct. 11
The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting urgent pavement repairs along westbound Interstate 70 at Route H (mile marker 45). The work will begin at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and will continue until approximately 5 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. Westbound interstate traffic will be diverted onto the exit and entrance ramps and back onto I-70. Utilization of these ramps will require the closure of Route H at I-70. This is a continuation of the work that took place from Wednesday, Sept. 27, to Friday, Sept. 29, along eastbound I-70 at Route H. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and find alternate routes if necessary. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
