Wednesday, November 8, 2017

Concordia University, Nebraska’s Chamber Recital is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on the Seward campus. The recital will feature a variety of keyboard, guitar, saxophone, brass and vocal performances.

“The Music Department offers students many opportunities to perform in solo settings and as part of large ensembles,” said Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo, associate professor of music. “This recital provides students with an opportunity to learn and perform music in small groups without a conductor, allowing students to work together, using their musical skills and knowledge to make musical and artistic decisions.”

Soprano Vanessa Marsh of Concordia will be part of the vocal quintet on “Over the Rainbow.”
