City of Concordia launches new website
The City of Concordia announced Monday, May 7, the launch of a new city website. Mayor Michael Brown said the site is up and running.
“After many months of hard work and dedication by the administrative staff, I am delighted to officially announce the launch of the official website for the City of Concordia,” he said. “You can access the site by going to www.concordiamo.org.”
Brown said the goal of the new website is to provide residents and visitors an easier way to learn about the city, offering convenient search icons to assist in navigating the site and quickly finding what they are looking for.
“Users will be able to find the latest city related news and announcements as well as information about city services,” he said. “They can also find links to other community and governmental organizations, including information on our government officials, meetings, city departments, city parks and the lake, and local ordinances.”
The site includes maps of the area, on-line payment options, and general information beneficial to new residents. Brown said the city will be continually upgrading and making changes with the website’s technology as times progresses.
“We hope local residents, as well as out-of-state visitors to our area, find the new website helpful and easy to access information about the city,” he said. “In addition, the website will be beneficial in that it will have links to other community groups and organizations that help make Concordia a fine place to raise a family and a dynamic location for business.”
The City of Concordia invites everyone to visit the new website and become more familiar with the city and community. Again, the address is www.concordiamo.org.
“We are moving forward and looking to a great future!” Brown said.
