Concordia Bowl 7
Marshall 8

Championship games are meant to be competitions between two stellar teams, and the Minors championship game certainly delivered. Unfortunately for Concordia Bowl, however, a late comeback attempt was thwarted on a walk-off hit by Marshall, who would win 8-7.
Izabel Koonce had a solid performance against a sweet-stroking Marshall club that knows how to load the runs up. She pitched all six innings, striking out 12 and allowing four walks while giving up seven hits.
The hits weren’t falling for Concordia, who only picked up four in the game. Brooklyn Garrison, Kynleigh Abney and Jenesis Diamond each had a single, while Koonce stroked a double and two RBIs.
Diamond scored one run and drove in another while Garrison, Abney, Koonce and Chloe Fahrmeier each scored two runs.
The loss finished Concordia Bowl off at 12-2, a solid record for a great team.
