The LaCoMo East majors championship game saw two excellent teams match up, but when the dust settled, the Concordia Lions Club had defeated Marshall Above and Beyond, 10-3. Concordia completed its perfect season with a victory in the championship.
Zach Brackman, Christian Bobzin, Roger Myers and Peyton Trautman scored two runs each.
Bobzin led the team offensively, collecting two triples and a single in his first three at-bats. Lions Club pitching held Marshall to just two hits and four walks. Dominating on both sides of the ball will make winning a game much easier, and the Lions Club had no problem putting this game away.
The win moves Concordia to 14-0, where they’ll end their season. Congratulations on the championship!
