Coach Lange: Lady Saints impress despite tough losses

Over the weekend, Saint Paul made it to the gold bracket of Holden Tournament, falling to eventual champion Fort Osage in the first round of bracket play, 17-25, 17-25. The Lady Saints went 1-1-2 on the day, with a win over Lone Jack and splitting sets with Boonville and Kansas City Lutheran.

The Lady Saints lost a heartbreaker in three sets (25-23, 19-25, 20-25) to Summit Christian Academy. After trailing, the Saints came back to win the opener 25-23. They held a lead in each of the last two sets, but couldn't finish.
In the third set, the Lady Saints stormed out to a 13-7 lead, only to see it disappear when Summit scored 8 unanswered points.
