Sharon Kay Fiene
Sharon Kay Fiene, 65, of Concordia, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at Bethel United Church of Christ in Concordia, with Dr. Alan Gatewood officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Concordia. Pallbearers are Dennis Hartwig, John Kennedy, Jim Schlichting, Ronnie Brandt, Lester Brandt and Adolf L. Heins. Born Dec. 16, 1952, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Obed Theodore Werths and Irene Heins Werths. Sharon lived in the Concordia area her entire life and was a 1970 graduate of Concordia High School. On April 16, 1983, she married Ronald Gene Fiene, who survives of the home. Sharon worked as a bookkeeper for Alewel Meats as well as other businesses and finished at Kesemannís prior to her illness. Sharon was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and a former member of the Concordia Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, Sharon is survived by two sons, Ryan Lovercamp and wife Jen of rural Concordia, and Ross Fiene and wife Lacey of Concordia; and two grandchildren, Drake and Maya Fiene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Werths.
