Concordia Elementary School has relaunched our character student/staff member of the month program. The program is a way to recognize students and staff who display great character traits. Each month there will be a character word selected that students and staff will focus on. Students, with the input of teachers, will select two students to represent each classroom. Staff will nominate each other and a staff member will be randomly selected, as well. The students and staff selected will be recognized in different ways throughout the month. The word for September was “Respectful.” Someone who is respectful treats others and property with care and consideration.

This month we would like to recognize the following students and staff for being selected as respectful citizens.

Kindergarten — Guinevere Richards, Aneri Patel, Avery Basye, and Madelyn Jacobson

Staff member Brandi Locke is recognized as September’s Character Teacher of the Month.
