SPLHS boys pick up impressive non-con wins

The Saint Paul Lutheran High School Saints boys basketball team kept an impressive season rolling on Tuesday, Dec. 11, when they took down the Carrollton High School Trojans, 66-41.
Seniors Dobrivoj Andrejic (20 points) and Elijah Muehler (18 points) paced the Saints in scoring. Andrejic led the Saints in rebounds (nine), as well, while Muehler and fellow senior Micah Lemmons led the pack in assists, with five each.
Lemmons has proven himself as a multi-tooled talent chock-full of hustle, and he did it again in this one, collecting six rebounds, as well.
The Saints advanced to 5-1 (0-0) with the victory.
The Trojans fall to 3-3 with the losing effort.

Those in attendance at the W-K Holiday Shootout who expected a close matchup between the Saint Paul Lutheran High School Saints boys basketball team and the Sacred Heart High School Gremlins severely under-pegged the Saints, as they would cruise to a 64-44 drubbing.
Five Saints scored at least nine points in the matchup, with seniors Elijah Muehler (16 points) and Dobrivoj Andrejic (12 points) were joined by junior Dominic Alicea (10 points) in the double-digit column. Two Saints also had seven rebounds (Andrejic and sophomore Vlado Vretenicic), while two others (Muehler and senior Micah Lemmons) picked up five assists. The Saints also connected on seven 3-point field goals.
The Saints moved to 6-1 (0-0) with the solid victory.
The Gremlins fell to 3-3 with the loss.
