Concordia School Board approves personnel changes for coming school year

During a closed session on March 21, the Concordia Board of Education approved several district personnel changes.

The board unanimously:
—Accepted resignations from several staff members, including High School science teacher Erik Velder, Quiz Scholar Sponsor Jennifer Gregory-Sneed, and Elementary Custodian William Moore;
—Employed Trindal Heineken as A+, Athletic and Special Services Secretary;
—Employed E. Ann Zumbrunnen as a Special Education Paraprofessional.

The board also re-employed the several certified probationary teachers for the 2019-2020 school year based upon receiving certification in their teach area. Salaries will be set at the salary schedule placement, plus other approved duty compensations as adopted for the 2019-20 school year. Those re-employed include:
—Elementary: Leslie Baker, Brianne Bredehoeft, Alyson Brizendine, Emily Dillon, Staci Hon, Brandi Locke, Cierra Sewell, Heather Watson and Emily Wieberg.
—High School: Mikalah Boehmer, Brendan David, Steve Denton, Kaitlyn Grace, Katlyn Jacobs, Mandy Johnson, Amy Legate, Brandon Rittmiller and Cole Schlesselman.
