In an effort to help everyone stay up to date with upcoming Chamber of Commerce happenings, the chamber recently announced several upcoming events.
The 17th Annual Scholarship Classic golf tournament is scheduled for Friday June 7, at Tri-City Country Club in Emma. Registration for the four-person scramble is $200 per team, with lunch provided for all participants. Teams can register through the Chamber of Commerce office in Concordia, or beginning at 7:30 a.m. the day of the event. Shotgun start will be at 9 a.m. that day, and a silent auction will take place in the clubhouse. Make checks payable to Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce, and address them to P.O. On Thursday, July 18, the chamber will host its annual meeting at 5:30 p.m. At the meeting, the chamber will be honoring a community member with the Steve Burrows Award. The chamber is now accepting nominations. Nominations can be sent to Mary Vogt at the Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce office.
The chamber is looking for four members to join the board. If you or anyone you know would be interested in getting involved, reach out to any Chamber of Commerce board member.
The message board in Central Park is up and running with lots of great info about what is happening in Concordia. If you would like to add a flyer or information to the board, drop it off at the chamber office.
Finally, the Chamber of Commerce will be putting together “Welcome to Concordia” packets and informational mailings for people that are visiting the town. Any member that would like to put information about your business in these packets, drop them off at the chamber office.
