Concordia Schools to pack meals for Oriole Strong Meals of Hope

The Concordia School District, with the help of its sponsors, will be working together to ensure that children in the community spend their time focusing on being a kid rather than worrying about when their next meal will be.
On Friday, Nov. 22, Oriole Strong students will be packing “Oriole Strong Meals of Hope.” They will be packing 30,000 meals to be sent home in the district’s weekly BackSnacks as well as the Little Food Pantry in the community.
District officials said they are excited for this opportunity to fight food insecurity within the school and community. This is only possible through the generous businesses that have made donations to make this possible. Sponsors include: American Family Insurance, CFM Insurance, Concordia Bank, Concordia Chapter FFA, Guier Gas, MCP Power, Milbank, PTC, Space Craft, State Bank, Thrivent, Tyson and West Central Electric Cooperative.
